Changes effective from August 25
The revised timings will come into effect from August 25 and are part of the Railways’ updated operating schedule for trains passing through the Mangaluru–Subrahmanya Road section.
The changes affect trains connecting the coastal region with Bengaluru as well as services operating towards Mangaluru Central. With several trains departing earlier than their existing timings, passengers could face inconvenience if they rely on the old schedule.
In particular, the five-minute changes at Bantwal and Kabaka Puttur for Train No. 16512 and Train No. 16586 mean that passengers should reach the stations in advance.
The 45-minute change in the departure of the Panchaganga Express from Subrahmanya Road is another important adjustment for passengers travelling towards Bengaluru.
Passengers advised to check schedules
Railway passengers have been advised to take note of the revised timings while planning their journeys from August 25.
Travellers should also allow sufficient time to reach their boarding stations, particularly where the revised departure is earlier than the existing schedule.
The changes cover multiple services and stations along the Mangaluru–Subrahmanya Road route, making it important for passengers to verify the timing of their specific train before travelling.
The revised schedule is expected to remain the applicable timetable from August 25, and passengers can avoid missed connections or departures by checking the updated timings in advance.
