Panchami Worship: Flax and yellow flowers guide puja; bananas complete bhog
On 15 October, Maa Skandamata is celebrated during Panchami, where devotees present offerings of flax flowers and bananas. This sacred occasion encourages worshippers to strengthen their bond with her and Lord Skanda. If flax flowers are hard to find, offering yellow flowers is a suitable alternative. Emphasizing simplicity, the rituals aim to be accessible for all participants, with the recommendation to seek guidance from a priest regarding local customs. What's Your Reaction?
