A tragic incident in Hyderabad‘s Miyapur area claimed the life of a 37-year-old software engineer, while her six-month-old infant survived with minor injuries after a fall from a residential apartment building.
The incident occurred at Lakshmi Prestige Apartments in Mayuri Nagar and has shocked residents of the locality.
Infant survives the fall
The deceased has been identified as Isha Sahu. According to preliminary police information, she allegedly fell from the sixth floor of the apartment building while carrying her infant in her arms.
Investigators believe the baby may have slipped from her grasp during the fall, which likely reduced the impact and contributed to the child’s survival.
Residents and emergency responders rushed to the scene and immediately shifted the infant to a nearby hospital for treatment. Doctors have reportedly stated that the child is out of danger and recovering.
