London Spirit’s unbeaten run against Birmingham Phoenix in the Women’s Hundred continued as they registered another comfortable win at Lord’s on Sunday.
The 32-run victory means London Spirit have now won all six meetings against Birmingham Phoenix in the history of the competition. Since the inaugural edition in 2021, the Spirit have maintained a perfect record against the Phoenix.

Speaking of the match, Marizanne Kapp produced a superb unbeaten 57 off just 28 balls at a strike rate of 203.57, including two fours and six sixes to power London Spirit to 140/4.
In reply, a disciplined bowling effort led by skipper Charlie Dean, who finished with 3/17, restricted Birmingham Phoenix to 108/8 and ensured the Spirit’s perfect record against them remained intact.
Kapp was deservedly named Player of the Match (picked up one wicket with the ball as well) as London Spirit moved to sixth in the points table with 10 points from seven games.
Both teams had already been knocked out of the playoff race before this clash but the Spirit will take plenty of confidence from the victory as they prepare for their final game of the season against Welsh Fire in Cardiff on August 12.
