Dubai, UAE: The much-awaited Tulu film Kajja is all set for its grand Dubai premiere on June 20 and 21, 2026, at Star Galleria Cinema, Hyatt Regency, Al Khaleej Street, Deira, Dubai. The overseas screening is expected to bring together Tulu-speaking audiences and cinema enthusiasts from across the UAE.
Produced by Vishanth Menezes and directed by Jishnu S. Menon and Siddharth Shetty, Kajja carries the tagline “Karma Returns” and has generated significant interest among Tulu cinema lovers ahead of its international screenings.
Three special shows scheduled
The first screening will be held on Saturday, June 20, at 7.30 pm.
On Sunday, June 21, two additional shows have been scheduled, with an afternoon show at 1.30 pm and an evening show at 4.30 pm.
Tickets for all screenings are priced at AED 100, AED 75, and AED 50.
Tulu diaspora invited to support regional cinema
The organisers have invited members of the Tulu-speaking community and cinema enthusiasts across the UAE to attend the screenings and support Tulu cinema on the international stage.
The premiere is expected to attract audiences from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, and other Emirates, reflecting the strong presence of the coastal Karnataka community in the Gulf region.
