Andhra Pradesh, 9th Jan. Tirupati witnessed a heartbreaking tragedy on Vaikuntha Ekadashi as a stampede at the Vishnu Nivasam claimed six lives and left several others injured. The incident occurred during the distribution of darshan tokens, as thousands of devotees gathered, leading to overcrowding and chaos.

Eyewitnesses reported inadequate crowd management and a lack of proper arrangements to handle the massive turnout. Authorities are now under scrutiny for the lapses that contributed to the disaster.
