With the qualifying rounds currently in progress, it has been decided that defending champion Sinner will be the top seed in the gentlemen’s draw, while Sabalenka will claim the top spot in the ladies’ draw.
Notable players such as Carlos Alcaraz and Victoria Mboko will miss the tournament due to injuries. Alcaraz missed the Queen’s Club tournament and has also withdrawn from Wimbledon with a wrist injury, causing a reshuffle among the men’s top seeds. His absence elevates players such as Alexander Zverev, Novak Djokovic, and Daniil Medvedev in the seeding order.
In the ladies’ draw, Mboko is ruled out with a knee injury. Aryna Sabalenka enters as the clear favourite, alongside elite players such as Elena Rybakina, Iga Swiatek, and Coco Gauff.
With the gruelling qualifying rounds taking place from 22 to 25 June, tennis enthusiasts will be looking ahead to the main draw, set to commence on 29 June.
