North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and South Korean National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-shik greeted each other in China before a military parade commemorating Japan’s WWII surrender, according to Yonhap news agency. This rare public encounter occurred amid strained relations between the two Koreas, marked by stalled diplomatic engagement and increased military activity on both sides.
