Prime Minister Narendra Modi received an enthusiastic and traditional welcome during the Ram Temple Dhwajarohan Utsav, marking another significant spiritual moment in Ayodhya’s ongoing series of ceremonial events. Devotees lined the pathways leading to the temple, chanting devotional hymns and showering flowers as the Prime Minister arrived to participate in the celebrations.
At the heart of the event was the symbolic Dhwajarohan ceremony, where a sacred flag is hoisted to signify auspicious beginnings and divine blessings. PM Modi joined temple priests in performing the rituals, offering prayers for national peace, prosperity, and collective well-being.
Following the ceremony, the Prime Minister visited the Sapt Mandir, a revered cluster of seven shrines within the temple premises. He performed special prayers, spending several minutes in meditation and interacting with priests about the significance of the complex in the Ramayana tradition.
Temple authorities expressed their gratitude for the Prime Minister’s presence, noting that his participation adds spiritual and cultural strength to the ongoing development of Ayodhya as a global pilgrimage centre.
Large crowds gathered around the temple precincts throughout the day, reflecting the growing enthusiasm among devotees since the consecration of the Ram Temple. Security arrangements were heightened to ensure a smooth and peaceful celebration.
The Dhwajarohan Utsav once again highlighted the cultural and spiritual vibrancy of Ayodhya, reinforcing its place as a major centre of devotion and heritage in India.
