All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi is set to launch his party’s election campaign in Bihar independently, amid uncertainty over any possible invitation from the INDIA bloc. The development signals that Owaisi’s party is preparing to contest alone in the state if alliances with opposition parties fail to materialize.
According to party insiders, Owaisi will begin addressing public meetings and rallies in minority-dominated constituencies, where AIMIM has built a base over the past few years.
