On September 17, 2025, Bharat celebrates the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi—affectionately known as Namo. This milestone is not merely a personal celebration of a leader’s life, but also a symbolic moment in Bharat’s collective journey toward Viksit Bharat 2047. Needonomics School of Thought (NST) takes this opportunity to greet the Prime Minister with reverence, describing him as a Jiwan-Mukti personality—one who achieves liberation not through renunciation, but by performing noble deeds in the service of society.
The philosophy of Jiwan-Mukti in Anu-Gita emphasizes righteous action, selfless service, and detachment from greed-driven pursuits. Prime Minister Modi’s life journey exemplifies these ideals, as he has consistently projected politics not as a means of power, but as an instrument of nation-building. In this sense, Namo embodies the spirit of the Gita, which teaches that true freedom lies in selfless action aligned with duty.
Gita-inspired Needonomics (economics of needs) offers a fresh yet timeless lens for economic governance. Coined as “old nectar in new terminology,” Needonomics reminds us that sustainable progress does not lie in unchecked consumerism or reckless accumulation of wealth (Greedonomics), but in moderation, balance, and prioritization of essential needs over insatiable wants.
In pursuit of Viksit Bharat 2047, the application of Needonomics becomes crucial. It emphasizes needo-consumption (mindful consumption), needo-production(required for well-being of people, environment, and future generations) and needo-governance (focusing on inclusive growth, sustainability, and ethical responsibility). By aligning economic policies with Needonomics, Bharat can chart a pathway that balances material progress with moral responsibility.
To achieve vision of Namo, NST urges every stakeholder—citizens, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and administrators—to become street SMART (Simple in living, Moral in conduct, Action-oriented in approach, Rational in decisions, and Truthful in relationship).
NST recalls the words of Late Prof. Prem Chand Jain, a RSS stalwart , Head Department of Economics at Kurukshetra University who described Namo as “unique soul with immense potential” transcend ordinary limitations and inspire collective transformation. NST believes that Namo is a leader who unites the spiritual wisdom of the Gita with the pragmatic vision of modern governance.
Namo’s dream of Viksit Bharat is not confined to material progress alone; it envisions a nation where development is holistic, inclusive, and sustainable. This vision resonates deeply with Needonomics, which insists that real richness is not in wanting more, but in realizing when no more is required.
As Prime Minister Modi turns 75, the Needonomics School of Thought offers heartfelt greetings—not merely as a birthday wish, but as a symbolic call to action for Bharat. Namo at 75 stands as a reminder that leadership grounded in values can guide Bharat toward its centenary of independence in 2047 with wisdom, strength, and compassion.
