Sri Lankan fast bowler Matheesha Pathirana has officially entered franchise ownership with the acquisition of Dinkers, marking his first-ever franchise investment.
Pathirana has partnered with his long-term manager and business associate Amila Kalugalage, who will serve as Managing Partner of Dinkers, as the duo looks to build a strong sporting brand with a long-term vision.
Yarl Dinkers will represent the brand in the Ceylon Pickle League (CPL), becoming the competitive franchise identity through which Dinkers enters the fast-growing world of pickleball.
The investment marks a new chapter for Pathirana beyond the cricket field, with Dinkers built around ambition, performance and a desire to contribute to the continued development of sport in Sri Lanka.

Kalugalage, who has worked alongside Pathirana throughout his professional journey, will oversee the strategic and commercial direction of the brand and its CPL franchise.
