Lucknow, 9th Jan.The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 has officially begun in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, with an anticipated participation of over 450 million people in the next month. This grand spiritual event features sacred rituals, including a Maha Yagya by 1,100 priests advocating for legal protection of cows, alongside a mass health initiative, Netra Kumbh, providing eye care services to millions.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the festival, emphasizing its importance to Sanatana Dharma and addressing key issues such as land governance in the region. The Maha Kumbh continues to serve as a global symbol of spirituality, culture, and service.
