Noida, 21st Sept: Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu on Saturday announced that the Jewar Airport, also known as Noida International Airport, will be inaugurated on October 30.
Speaking at an event held at Hindon Airport, the minister said that commercial flights will begin within 45 days of the inauguration, marking a major boost to air connectivity in western Uttar Pradesh and the National Capital Region.
The greenfield airport, billed as India’s largest once fully operational, is expected to ease congestion at Delhi’s IGI Airport and drive economic growth in the region.
