The Indo Latin American Chamber of Commerce (ILACC), New Delhi, India, successfully hosted the inaugural edition of the Global Trade Networking Conclave – Horizon 2025 at the Trident Hotel, Chennai, which marked the beginning of their South India chapter.

Mr. Shakthiyel, President of the South India Chapter ILACC, shared his vision: “The launch of our South India chapter signifies a strategic move to deepen our engagement with the southern states of India. This region, with its industrial dynamism and global outlook, is well-positioned to play a central role in Indo-Latin American trade. Horizon 2025 is just the beginning.”
The conclave witnessed the participation of various distinguished entrepreneurs, industry leaders, trade envoys, and ambassadors from the Latin American countries, including Peru, Cuba, El Salvador, Venezuela, Chile, and Argentina. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, H.E. Mr. Alberto Antonio Guani Amarilla, Co-Ordinator of GruLac and Ambassador of Uruguay.
Chief Guest H.E. Mr. Alberto Antonio Guani Amarilla, Ambassador of Uruguay, underscored the value of platforms like Horizon in building multilateral economic bridges and said, “This conclave represents a meaningful step towards integrating our economies, understanding our cultures, and creating mutual prosperity through dialogue and enterprise.” He also emphasised the importance of ILACC and its South India chapter, which works towards trade and commerce prosperity.
With a focus on cross-border collaboration, sectoral partnerships, and sustainable trade initiatives, Horizon 2025 provided a powerful platform for dialogue and connection between business communities across two dynamic regions, India and LAC.
The event featured high-level discussions, business matchmaking sessions, and panel dialogues aimed at enhancing trade diplomacy and forging partnerships in sectors such as agriculture, energy, technology, healthcare, education, pharmaceuticals and infrastructure.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Rajkumar Sharma, Founder and National President of ILACC, emphasised the significance of the conclave, stating, “Horizon 2025 is not just a networking platform; it is a symbol of our shared future. India and Latin America share immense potential for trade, innovation, and sustainable development.”
