Former USSR leader's great-grandson captured by Ukraine: Reports

Reports indicate Anton Milaev, adopted great-grandson of Leonid Brezhnev, has been captured by Ukrainian forces. Milaev, reportedly a sapper, was last heard from in November 2025. Ukrainian military intelligence and prisoner of war coordination sources have allegedly confirmed his custody in the Kherson region. His presence on a Ukrainian ‘enemies’ database has also been noted. The circumstances of his capture and potential for exchange remain unclear amidst ongoing conflict.
