Ex-Trump aide back at NSA: Joe Francescon named deputy director; no senate nod needed

Joe Francescon, a former Trump administration official, is the new deputy director at the National Security Agency. This follows a leadership change including the dismissal of Wendy Noble and General Timothy Haugh. Tulsi Gabbard and Pete Hegseth praised Francescon’s experience. Francescon previously worked at the NSA, Pentagon, and National Security Council. He expressed excitement to return to the NSA.
