England opener Ben Duckett added another feather to his career with a century against India in the third ODI Sunday becoming just the sixth opening batter to score hundreds at the iconic venue in both Test and ODI cricket.

The left-hander joins the list comprising:
Denis Amiss, who scored 188 against India in the 1974 Test before making 137 against India in the 1975 World Cup, which was the first-ever ODI century at Lord’s.Graham Gooch, who scored his first international century in June, 1980, hitting a 123 against the West Indies at Lord’s.

Graeme Wood, with 112 runs, in June 1980 vs England.

Marcus Trescothick, scored 137 against Pakistan on June 12, 2001, during the NatWest Series.

Alastair Cook, whose first international century at Lord’s was a Test century of 105 runs, scored against Pakistan in 2006.

And Duckett’s century was laced with 18 fours and a solitary six with a strike rate of 104.44. He ended up scoring 141 off 135 deliveries to help England post a mammoth 387/3 in 50 overs against the Men in Blue.

The hundred is another significant milestone in Duckett’s career, as he now makes his mark at one of cricket’s most prestigious venues.
