Lucknow, 15th July: The Centre has extended the deputation of Amit Singh, Secretary to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, till March 31, 2027.
A 2000-batch Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS) officer, Singh will continue to serve in his current role, handling key responsibilities in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
An official order to this effect was issued by the Government of India, approving his extended tenure in Lucknow. Known for his administrative acumen and efficiency, Amit Singh has played a pivotal role in policy execution and coordination under CM Yogi’s leadership.
This latest extension indicates the Centre’s continued confidence in Singh’s capability to support governance and development initiatives in India’s most populous state.
