Saiyaara Becomes a Sensation
Released in theatres on July 18, Saiyaara has received glowing reviews from both critics and audiences. The film follows the story of Krish Kapoor (Ahaan Panday), a fiery musician, and Vaani (Aneet Padda), a soft-spoken and driven journalist. Their evolving romance—set against a backdrop of soulful music—has struck a chord with viewers. The chemistry between the leads and the film’s hit soundtrack have contributed to its widespread appeal.
Produced by YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara has quickly become a cultural phenomenon, with fans flooding social media with praise for the newcomers and Suri’s direction.
Aamir’s Own Box Office Success
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan is enjoying a strong run at the box office with Sitaare Zameen Par, which has earned over ₹163 crore nett in India, according to Sacnilk. Directed by RS Prasanna, the film released on June 20 and is a spiritual successor to Aamir’s 2007 classic Taare Zameen Par. Co-starring Genelia D’Souza, it continues to resonate with audiences for its emotional depth and inspirational storytelling.
As Saiyaara continues its successful run, Aamir Khan’s endorsement further cements the film’s rising status as a breakthrough hit of the year.
