Authorities also accused the event organizers, TVK, of failing to provide basic necessities such as food and water to the crowd, which had been waiting since noon.
The stampede, which occurred amid a massive gathering of fans, led to multiple injuries and created panic among attendees. Police sources said that while security measures were suggested to manage the large turnout, the actor and organizers did not fully implement the recommendations. This lapse, combined with the lack of provisions for those waiting for hours, contributed to the chaotic situation.
