Gujarat Titans needed Shimron Hetmyer out of the picture when the batter was on fire hitting scores and runs for the Rajasthan Royals in achieving the target score. Coming to the rescue was their bowler Prasidh Krishna, a former KKR player. In the RR match, the bowler’s 3/24 performance took the lead adding another promising performance to his stats. In five matches played so far, Krishna’s consistency is worth noticeable. His 2/18 performance against Mumbai Indians, 1/26 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, 2/25 against Sunrisers Hyderabad, and today’s feat is a propf to his improved skills as a bowler.
With Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Noor Ahmad leads the race for the Purple Cap with 11 wickets, Prasidh is currently at the 9th position. Joining RCB’s Josh Hazlewood and GT’s Sai Kishore, all three are currently with 8 wickets each.

Prasidh’s performance today was out of the park that worked for GT in giving a brilliant defeat to RR by 58 runs. His economy rate of 7.05 is quite a good start made in total of five matches. Bringing in the dominance in the balling line-up today, the bowler started off his strike against RR skipper Sanju Samson where Sai Kishore took the catch. Hetmyer later fell under his wicket with Kishore again coming in support. He took a third of Jofra Archer helped by his skipper Subhman Gill.
Taking all the three wickets, the seamer contributed to the team’s win by successfully removing good scorers from the RR lineup. GT are now in the top of the points table and in order to maintain it performances like these adds value and weightage.
