Keyi Panyor Suvidha’ Digital Platform Inaugurated to Facilitate Public Service Delivery in Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar: In a bid to update public service delivery and make it more accessible to citizens, the District Administration and Police of Keyi Panyor in Arunachal Pradesh launched the ‘Keyi Panyor Suvidha’ digital platform together on Friday.

The inaugural ceremony, organized at Yachuli, was graced by a number of dignitaries such as Deputy Commissioner Smt. Shweta Nagarkoti Mehta (IAS), Superintendent of Police Shri Angad Mehta (IPS), Additional Deputy Commissioner, Circle Officer, ZPC, ZPM, and various Heads of Departments. The platform is conceived to provide hassle-free access to government services via WhatsApp, which is a major step towards e-governance in the newly formed district.

‘Keyi Panyor Suvidha’ enables citizens to access several basic public services—like Police Character Certificate, NOC for Tenders, Birth Certificate, Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) Certificate, Inner Line Permit, and Income Certificate—on their mobile phones.

Addressing the function, Deputy Commissioner Shweta Nagarkoti Mehta emphasized the significance of the initiative in curbing bureaucratic delays and enhancing transparency in governance. “This is a big step towards making governance accessible, efficient, and transparent for all citizens of Keyi Panyor. With a mere message on WhatsApp, basic services can now be availed without having to visit several offices,” she added.

Superintendent of Police Angad Mehta stressed the use of digital innovation in governance. “We are determined to employ technology for filling gaps in the delivery of services, particularly in newer districts such as ours. The ‘Keyi Panyor Suvidha’ portal ensures that basic services reach citizens in a timely and hassle-free manner,” he said.

To avail themselves of the platform, citizens can simply send a “Hi” message through WhatsApp to the number 9405456923. They will then be led through the application process for the different services.

The government is encouraging all its citizens to fully utilize the online platform, which has guaranteed faster turnaround times, less paperwork, and more convenience—especially in rural areas where connectivity to government offices might be limited.

This project fits into the overall vision of digital transformation in government and is anticipated to be an example for other districts throughout the state and nation.
