New Delhi 12th August :Political heat in Punjab rises ahead of the 2027 assembly polls as Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal launched a fierce attack on AAP and Arvind Kejriwal. Speaking at a student protest in Bathinda, Badal blamed AAP for multiple paper leaks and recruitment scams, affecting over a million students, and challenged Kejriwal to a public debate in any Punjab university. He questioned the silence of the government on punishing responsible officials and demanded CBI investigation and resignations of ministers. Badal urged Punjabis to oust “outsiders” and pledged that SAD, as Punjab’s own party, would safeguard the state’s future.
