California woman wins $300,000 after accusing cruise ship of overserving her 14 tequila shots

A California nurse was awarded $300,000 after a jury found a cruise operator 60% liable for injuries sustained during a blackout on the Carnival Radiance. The woman alleged she was overserved alcohol, leading to a fall down stairs. The jury determined both the cruise line and the woman shared responsibility for the incident.
