Saudi Arabia: Injured officer who foiled suicide attempt at Islam’s holiest site identified, now recovering

Saudi authorities have identified the security officer injured while stopping a suicide attempt at Islam’s holiest site in Makkah. Haram security officer Rayan bin Saeed Al-Asiri is recovering in hospital after being hurt during the intervention, he received a call from the Saudi interior minister, who praised his courage, selflessness and vigilance.
